The Export Workhorse
Fortuna
Fortuna is Egypt's most widely exported strawberry variety. It produces large, firm, conical fruit with a bright red exterior and good shelf life — well suited to long-haul export logistics. Its consistent size and appearance make it a reliable choice for retail and wholesale buyers.

Premium Flavour Profile
Sensation
Sensation is prized for its superior flavour — sweeter and more aromatic than Fortuna, with a deeper red colour throughout. It commands a premium in markets where flavour is the primary buying criterion. Slightly softer than Fortuna, so it is best suited to shorter supply chains or buyers who can move product quickly.

Consistent & Versatile
Festival
Festival offers a balance between the firmness of Fortuna and the flavour of Sensation. It produces medium to large fruit with good uniformity and a pleasant sweet-acid balance. A versatile variety suitable for both retail presentation and food service applications.

Logistics
Cold Chain & Logistics
Pre-cooling
Fruit is pre-cooled immediately after harvest to remove field heat before packing.
Controlled temperature packing
Packing takes place in temperature-controlled facilities to maintain cold chain integrity.
Refrigerated transport
All shipments travel in refrigerated containers or reefer trucks from packing facility to port.
Temperature monitoring
Temperature data loggers are available on request to provide buyers with a continuous record of cold chain conditions.
