IQF Frozen Strawberries
Our IQF Frozen Strawberries are produced from Egyptian-grown fruit processed at the peak of the fresh season. The IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) method freezes each piece of fruit separately, preserving shape, colour, and nutritional value without the clumping associated with block-frozen product.
Frozen strawberries are available year-round, making them a reliable supply option for food manufacturers, smoothie producers, bakeries, and foodservice buyers who need consistent quality outside the fresh season.
Process
The IQF Process
Harvest at Peak Ripeness
Fruit is harvested at optimal Brix and colour during the Egyptian fresh season (November–June).
Washing & Sorting
Fruit is washed, inspected, and sorted to remove defects, foreign material, and undersized pieces.
IQF Tunnel Freezing
Individual pieces pass through a cryogenic or mechanical IQF tunnel, freezing rapidly at −35°C to −40°C to lock in quality.
Grading & Packing
Frozen fruit is graded by size and packed into retail or bulk formats in a temperature-controlled environment.
Cold Storage & Export
Product is held in cold storage at −18°C and shipped in refrigerated containers to destination markets.
